Outdoor screening proposed by Yolanda Pereña, followed by a debate.

The age of stupid (Franny Armstrong, 2009, 92 min.)

A film with an ecological, futuristic slant, which portrays a barren world drained of all its resources and saturated by pollution. The main character studies a series of ancient (from his perspective in the future) documents, and realises that the disaster had been forewarned but that nothing was done to prevent it. He concludes that the era in question should be called The age of stupid. The main actor made the film for free as an act of political commitment. Not an easy film to commercialise.

Yolanda Pereña has been active in the citizens’ movement and is closely involved in ecological movements.
