HAHA-HA ͜ AH
haha-ha ͜ah arose from wanting to physically approach the words of a song. The words, an extract from those sung by Laurie Anderson in “O Superman” (1981), are interspersed between the extension of the arm and the stride. That wait from one action to the next – the fact that one follows after the other – is the meeting point for advancing along the perimeter of Bulegoa z/b and measuring it in the relationship between the two actions.

Leire Aranberri (Bilbao, 1993, graduated in Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country and the HKB in Berne. She participated in the PACAP4 program curated by João dos Santos Martins at Forum Dança in Lisbon (2020), and she studied Butoh with Rhizome Lee in Dharamshala, India (2017-2019).
