First lesson

“Primera lección” is an encounter between artists to be carried out as two series of presentations by artists involved in investigative processes. The encounter will take place to coincide with a visit to Bilbao by the Dutch Art Institute ArtEZ Master of Fine Art group, from the Masters programme directed by If I Can’t Dance “Affect/Production”. Over two afternoons, presentations will be made in English by the twelve DAI students and several local artists, who responded to an open call by Bulegoa.

“Primera lección” is the first of the activities of the EGB line of investigation. EGB (Basic General Education) is a line of investigation centred on the concept of self-education, understood as a process in which subjects actively shape their own learning processes. EGB will create a workspace through open and closed sessions. It will work as a study group which aims to produce knowledge through dialogue and the exchange of knowledge.
