CAMPAMENTO RUMANO: AMENAZA DE PAZ
Amenaza de paz (Threat of Peace) is the title of the latest album by Campamento Rumano recorded at the studio Pookah Sound in Bilbao in 2024. The 45 RPM 12’’ record has seven tracks. The first track, which provides the title for the record, is a composition based on the saxophone and the xylophone and shows the influence of the Deadbeats with Geza X. The band’s music video has been produced expressly for the Bulegoa z/b Solstice.

MATTIN ETA ALEX PRESENTAN: ACID LOVERZ ROCK LIVE
Acid Loverz Rock (Sunny Wright IV and Raff Lauren) propose a coherent rereading of electronic listening involving physical media, fusing acid dub, dub and techno in a tangible sonic experience. Their approach does not seek to destroy formats, but instead to reorganize perception: they transform sound into a meeting space where the analogical dialogues with the digital without hierarchies. From clubs to DLC Kultur, their proposal reveals an organic electronics that takes musical creation towards the body and the collective act of listening.

BIOS

Maia Villot de Diego is an artist who lives and works in Bilbao. Her artistic practice revolves around the idea of generating a type of attention that involves contemplation, listening and allowing time to images so that they can speak for themselves. Opening up possibilities, proposing other ways of looking, of listening, other ways of being and staying there. Revealing things that are already there. She works using different formats depending on the requirements of each project, with the body and the voice as two elements with a strong presence in her work.

Campamento Rumano is a punk band from Bilbao, although one of its members has been living in Madrid since 1999. It was originally formed as a duo, recruiting more people to realise its musical ideas. The band is known for its mocking and sarcastic lyrics. To date it has published 2 EPs, El punk está lleno de sinvergüenzas (Punk Is Full Of Scoundrels) (2018) and Visiones (Visions) (2022). In 2024, it published its first album Amenaza de paz (Threat of Peace) (2024).

Acid Loverz Rock is a Navarrese project developed by Sunny Wright IV and Raff Lauren which reinvents electronic music using analogue media. Based in Iruña, they fuse acid house, raw techno and dub using cassettes, old mixers and pedals, transforming technical errors into a study of the sonic experience. What began as deejaying in their mythical “dub caves” – those intimate nights involving the two of them – are now shows in which the public becomes an accomplice. Their philosophy: share what’s imperfect to create human connections through noise.
