Broodthaers, a writer, \u201cabandoned\u201d writing to work as an artist on a book by another writer, Mallarm\u00e9, who prolifically investigated the concept of the book and forms of reading in search of the <i>Total Work (or Book).<\/i> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">John Berger&#8217;s father, Tilda Swinton&#8217;s father.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>Don Giovanni <\/i>as an example of what is not spoken but is there; <i>El Burlador de Sevilla (The Trickster of Seville, <\/i>circa 1612, attributed to Tirso de Molina), where the cashier slips from \u201cd\u201d to \u201cs\u201d in a sort of 17th century \u201cpost truth\u201d or alternative fact. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The last session of <i>The Book To Come <\/i>will use these issues to take a look at the idea of transmission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Lucia Onzain<\/b> (Bilbao, 1964). Trained at the Fine Art Faculty, Barcelona, Universidad del Pa\u00eds Vasco, EHU\/UPV, Accademia de Roma, New York University and Arteleku, Donostia-San Sebasti\u00e1n.<i> <\/i>She considers art to be not only a way of life, but a form of knowledge in which exegesis is increasingly necessary; and this is why she is a member of <i>The Book To Come <\/i>reading group.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Book to Come is a project by Corpus, network for the practice of performance.
