Una utop\u00eda subterr\u00e1nea The So-Called Utopia of the Centre<\/em>, Albert Meister (1976).<br \/>\nText proposed by Luca Frei.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conductor: I\u00f1aki Mart\u00ednez de Albeniz.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mart\u00ednez de Alb\u00e9niz is a Doctor in Sociology who works at the Sociology 2 Department, Universidad del Pa\u00eds Vasco-Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. Alongside his academic work, he had written for the Mugalari supplement of GARA, and does his own thing at El Estado Mental. With the contention of a reverent science like sociology, he has always felt curious about art, especially since some of his friends have been artists. And now he doesn&#8217;t know what he values most, art or friendship.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Session 2.<\/strong><br \/>\n23 October 2014.<br \/>\nText: <em>Fem\u00f8 Woman&#8217;s Camp 2008: Film and Agreement<\/em>, by Kajsa Dahlberg. 2008\/2010. The session will be attended by the artist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conductors: Daniel Llar\u00eda, Pablo Marte.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Daniel Llar\u00eda was born in Logro\u00f1o in 1985. He completed a Degree in Fine Arts in 2009 at the Universidad del Pa\u00eds Vasco (UPV-EHU), with a year at Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste (UdK, Berlin) and an exchange with Byam Shaw (Saint Martin&#8217;s College, London). In 2010 he was awarded a scholarship by the Fundaci\u00f3 La Caixa for a Master in Investigation in Art and Creation, Universidad Complutense, Madrid. Although he specialised in sculpture, he uses many different media in his work, with video as a nucleus from which he branches into other disciplines. In music and performance, he was a member of\u00a0<em>Baba Llaga<\/em>\u00a0in 2006; worked in\u00a0<em>AM<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>with Itziar Markiegi, and set up\u00a0<em>Musta Props<\/em>\u00a0with Estanis Cornella in 2013.<br \/>\nLlar\u00eda has exhibited individually in the Next programme, Centro Cultural Montehermoso (<em>Think locally fuck globally<\/em>, 2009), and at the Centro Cultural, Egia (<em>Pretty<\/em>, 2014). Group exhibitions include\u00a0<em>Antes que todo<\/em>\u00a0(2010, CA2M),\u00a0<em>Pop Politics<\/em>\u00a0(CA2M, 2012) and\u00a0<em>First thought best <\/em>(Artium, 2014). Awards include the Second Prize, Injuve, 2009; Revelation Artist, XXV Young Art Show, La Rioja, and a grant from the Basque Government for the recording and publishing of an LP with\u00a0<em>AM<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Pablo Marte (C\u00e1diz, 1975) is an artist. His work revolves around how processes of signifying images and producing discourse are articulated and rearticulated, through a symptomatic, expansive, heterogenous practice of montage. Solo and group exhibitions include\u00a0<em>First Thought Best<\/em>\u00a0(Eremuak, Artium, Vitoria 2014);\u00a0<em>Marginalia<\/em>\u00a0(Arteleku, San Sebasti\u00e1n, 2013);\u00a0<em>Festival Pantalla Fantasma<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>(Bilbao, 2013);\u00a0<em>L&#8217;Occasione <\/em>(Bilbao, 2012);\u00a0<em>EspaiDos<\/em>\u00a0(Terrassa, 2010); and\u00a0<em>Antes que todo<\/em>\u00a0(CA2M, M\u00f3stoles, 2010). In 2012 he was given a curatorial residency at the Fundaci\u00f3n Bilbaoarte, where he organised the intermittent cycle of exhibitions\u00a0<em>Enter the Ghost<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Exit the Ghost<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Re-Enter the Ghost<\/em>. Marte took part in the programming of HPC, Consonni, with\u00a0<em>El Problema est\u00e1 en el Medio<\/em>. Also for Consonni, he wrote and directed the play\u00a0<em>Again, against<\/em>, which premiered at BAD, Bilbao Theatre and Performance Festival (2013). He has recently published\u00a0<em>Pretty Woman<\/em>, a project consisting of a fiction essay and ten interventions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Session 3.\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n13 November 2014<br \/>\nText:\u00a0<em>Maurits Scripts<\/em>, Wendelien van Oldenborgh, 2006. I like getting close to the base of languages and savouring their meanings. My region&#8217;s form of speech is disappearing, and listening to it feels broader, rich, to me. Sculpture also gives shelter, and is a chance to pose questions that can&#8217;t be thought about in any other way.
