Her proposal <i>What Looks At Me Surroundings Me <\/i>was selected for residency along with <i>Vida Neus a veces <\/i>by Mar\u00eda Cerd\u00e1 Acebr\u00f3n in our 2021 open call. The jury was comprised by Iratxe Jaio (artist), Laura Vall\u00e9s Vilches (curator, editor and researcher) and the members of Bulegoa z\/b.<\/p>\n<p><b>ALEJANDRA POMBO SU: <\/b><b><i>WHAT LOOKS AT ME SURROUNDINGS ME<br \/>\n<\/i><\/b>During my time in residency at Bulegoa z\/b, I&#8217;m working on new material relating to my broader investigation of animal becoming as an experience of\u00a0<i>being\u00a0<\/i>in<i>\u00a0being there.\u00a0<\/i>Being as an encounter of the body, which is not a body but a place.<\/p>\n<p><b>Alejandra Pombo Su<\/b> (Santiago de Compostela, 1979) obtained a Degree in Fine Arts with the Universidad Complutense\u00a0(Madrid). She extended her studies in Barcelona with a Masters in Digital Arts at Universidad Pompeu Fabra and then the PEI Independent Study Program, MACBA. Doctor in Fine Arts with a thesis on the paradoxes and effects of the introduction of the notion of performance in the field of art. Pombo Su has taken part in projects such as <i>What is Third<\/i> (Casa Encendida, Madrid, 2015),\u00a0<i>Primer Proforma<\/i>\u00a0(MUSAC, Le\u00f3n, 2010) and\u00a0<i>Mugatxoan<\/i>\u00a0(2004-2009), Laboral (Gij\u00f3n), Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Serralves (Porto) and Arteleku (San Sebastian). She has also been a resident artist at I-Park Foundation (Connecticut, US); Atlantic Center for the Arts (Florida, US); PACT-Zollverein (Essen, Germany); MAC (A Coru\u00f1a); Casa Encendida (Madrid); CA2M (Madrid); and Ranchito, Matadero (Madrid) among others.
