Or perhaps not cannibalism, but anthropophagy \u2013 a very different cultural understanding of forms of approximation, exchange and integration to our own today. Inconsistency, the construction of memory, and non-assimilation become the unstable basis for social relationships. Perfect &#8216;food for thought&#8217; for current times.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pablo Lafuente<\/strong> (Portugalete, 1976) lives and works in London and S\u00e3o Paulo. He edits <em>Afterall<\/em> and is a professor at Central Saint Martins &#8211; University of the Arts, London.
